As an accomplished Physical Therapist and the founder of Monarch Wellness, LLC, Megan Gadsby embodies an unwavering commitment to improving patients' lives through specialized rehabilitation. Based in the heart of Annapolis, Maryland, Monarch Wellness is an innovative allied health practice with a unique focus on oncology rehabilitation.

Since her graduation in 2012 from Western Carolina University, where she earned her Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Megan has devoted her career to the compassionate care of oncology and medically complex patients. Her firm belief in the transformative potential of physical therapy to improve both functional movement and overall health, has been the guiding force throughout her professional career.

Megan has increased her knowledge on the subject of oncology rehab through certification as a Lymphedema Therapist from Klose Training in 2015 and becoming a PORi-Certified Oncology Rehabilitation Therapist in 2023.

Megan's extensive experience with lymphedema and oncology patients traces back to her days as a student physical therapist at the Gibbs Cancer center at Spartanburg Regional Medical in 2012 and continued through her career including her last position at Annapolis Lymphedema Center from 2021- 2023. Her experience has reinforced her dedication to this specialized healthcare field.

Underpinning Megan’s therapeutic approach is a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, empathy, and health promotion. This is evident in Monarch Wellness where she fosters the power of collaboration, offering complementary services such as physical therapy, nutritional counseling, mental health services, and engagement with exercise professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Passionate about community strength, she is actively developing initiatives that provide valuable education opportunities and wellness events.

Away from her professional life, Megan, a Baltimore native,  now enjoys life in scenic Annapolis with her partner, Wing, and their child, Charlotte. She cherishes the outdoors, finding joy in activities like hiking, skiing, and biking. It's not uncommon to find Megan at her own physical therapist's office, as she humorously admits she's often mending the strains from her adventurous pursuits.
