Tiara Staton, PTA
Physical Therapy Assistant

Tiara  graduated from Howard Community College with a certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant and has since honed her skills across various clinical settings. During her time at Howard, she completed rotations at Johns Hopkins Healthcare and worked closely with orthopedic surgeons, gaining valuable insights into both manual and surgical rehabilitation approaches.

Before joining Monarch Wellness, Tiara worked at the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, where she collaborated with a multidisciplinary team of occupational and physical therapists. She specialized in treating post-surgical, neurological, and orthopedic conditions, utilizing manual therapy and assisted devices for gait training and pain management. Her expertise also includes providing care for a wide range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric, with conditions such as Alzheimer’s, diabetes, MS, COPD, OA, RA, joint replacements, and more.

Tiara’s passion for manual therapy allows her to address underlying conditions that may be overlooked, ensuring a holistic and personalized approach to patient care. She has worked in rehabilitation since 2017, with a background that includes hands-on experience with complex patient populations and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. â€‹

Her work is marked by dedication to patient safety, quality care, and positive interactions with both patients and colleagues. Outside of the clinic, Tiara enjoys spending time with her family, exploring nature, and baking. A fun fact about her—she plans to skydive at least once in her life!
